Regular writer for local paper. I’m also finishing a historical/fiction tribute to my great-grandparents. As my son says, it’s kind of a ‘fictional autobiography’ of a real person. It’s based on facts; I just had to ‘connect the dots.’ Why’d I write nearly 100,000 words on some ‘unknowns’? Reading my great-grandmother’s ‘Civil War’ letters and her obituary told me their story needed to be told. |
